TRUMP SAYS CALIFORNIA FIRE IS A TRUE TRAGEDY-Trump says Governor Newsom has not done a good job with regards to the fire

U.S. President Elect Donald Trump has labelled the ongoing California fire as a true tragedy. Trump who stated that the governor of California had not done a good job in relation to the fire, said the US government would to join in rebuilding

The fires have raged over the Studio City and Pacific Palisades neighbourhoods of Los Angeles, California.

There are reports of inadequate water supplies and overstretched firefighters in Pacific Palisades, and officials have said that the shortage of water led to some hydrants running dry. The wildfires from Los Angeles reportedly spread to the Hollywood Hills on Wednesday. 

Residents have been ordered to evacuate the affected areas and  L.A. Mayor Karen Bass has also warned that additional evacuation orders might be issued overnight, urging residents to evacuate if instructed to do so.

Contrary winds are reportedly hindering the firefighting operations and spreading the fires, which is said to have burned thousands of acres since they began on Tuesday.
