ZIMBABWE STREETS REMAIN EMPTY AND VOID OF PROTESTS – After billions joined Pastor Chris to pray for the nation during the Global Day of Prayer over the weekend
The bustling streets of Zimbabwe’s capital, Harare, remain empty and void of any protest to incite political action after billions joined Pastor Chris to pray for the nation at the 21st edition of the Global Day of Prayer over the weekend.
The supporters of Zimbabwe’s Vice President Constantino Chiwenga who failed in their attempt to rouse protests in the capital, have accused Mnangagwa of failing to revive the economy, presiding over a corrupt government and plotting to extend his stay in power beyond the end of his second term in 2028.
Harare remained largely empty, as most schools, shops and banks remained closed and police were present across town.
The planned protests which were scheduled to incite political action did not take place as it failed to garner massive support from citizens across the country.
