Four men have been charged by police investigating fraud offences linked to the Grenfell Tower fire.

Yonatan Eyob, 25, of no fixed address, Abolaji Onafuye, 54, of Gorleston Street, west London, Koffi Kouakou, 54, of Elizabeth Court, southwest London, and Abdelkarim Rekaya, 28, of Lots Road, southwest London, were among nine people arrested by officers during raids on Thursday.

The five other suspects – four men and one women – have been released.

Eyob has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of class A drugs, possession of criminal property and failing to supply a PIN code of a mobile phone.

Onafuye has been charged with two counts of fraud by false representation, with Kouakou and Rekaya both charged with one count.

Rekaya has also been charged with obtaining leave by deception.

The four men will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later.
