U.S RECOVERS $59 MLN FROM FEMA MISUSED FOR ILLEGAL MIGRANTS – DHS fired 4 FEMA employees for circumventing leadership
U.S. Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem has announced that the US has recovered $59 million paid by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to house illegal migrants in luxury New York City hotels.
Noem, who said in a statement on X that she ‘clawed back the full payment that FEMA deep state activists unilaterally gave to NYC migrant hotels’, further added that no single penny spent would be used against the interest and safety of the American people.
The announcement came after Elon Musk said the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) had uncovered $59 million in payments for luxury hotels for Illegal migrants who had swamped New York
The DHS also announced the firing of four FEMA employees on Tuesday for circumventing leadership and making the payments unilaterally. The firings included FEMA’s CFO, two analysts and a grant specialist.
