GRENADE EXPLOSION IN FRANCE BAR INJURES 12-Touret-de-Courcy says 2 are in critical condition

Twelve people have sustained injuries from a grenade explosion at a bar in Grenoble, France.

Prosecutor François Touret-de-Courcy stated that two people were in critical condition after the grenade explosion at the bar in the Olympic Village neighbourhood.

Grenoble Mayor Eric Piolle in a statement on X said he condemned “in the strongest possible terms this criminal act of extraordinary violence”

France’s Health Minister Yannick Neuder is due to visit victims and medical staff at Grenoble University Hospital this morning, and  Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau is also scheduled visit to Grenoble on Friday
