JUSTIN TRUDEAU FACES PRESSURE TO RESIGN BY PARTY MEMBERS- Lawmakers asked Trudeau to make his decision by 28 October

Members of Canada’s Liberal party have given Prime Minister Justin Trudeau an ultimatum to resign from leadership.

Trudeau met with Liberal lawmakers in a closed-door caucus meeting on Wednesday where 20 MPs called for his resignation before a likely electoral drubbing in the next election.

Two dozen lawmakers also signed a letter calling on Trudeau to make his decision by 28 October but failed to give any clear consequence.

Liberal MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith said the prime minister must listen to his party members’ valid frustrations and incorporate them into changes.
