Do you know that you can be joyful all the time? You may ask, how is that possible? Well, joy has nothing to do with what’s  happening to you or around you; it’s got nothing to do with what others say or do to you. Joy comes from within you, and it’s up to you to let it out.

Living with joy is a personal choice you make regardless of any situation or circumstances. It doesn’t matter how you feel; you can choose to stir up that joy right now. Ephesians 5: 19 says, ” Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord”(KJV). So, all you need to do is spend some time speaking God’s Word to yourself and singing songs of praise to the Lord, and you’d feel immense joy rising up from within you. Remember the Bible says, “… Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”(Nehemiah 8:10). This means when you’re full of joy, you’re strengthened.

So, choose to be joyful today because it pays off. Don’t wait for some comedian or a happy experience to make you joyful. Rather, just like Paul and Silas who remained joyful even while in prison (Acts 16:25), always put up a joyful attitude no matter what comes your way.
