BRITAIN’S KING CELEBRATES 75TH BIRTHDAY WITH TRADITIONAL TEA PARTY Representatives from the local community attended

King Charles kicked off his 75th birthday celebrations a day early on Monday with a traditional tea party held in Highgrove House.

Representatives from the local community including teachers, musicians and NHS workers attended the event ahead of the Monarch’s birthday on Tuesday, November 14th.

King Charles was in a jovial mood as he made his way around the Orchard Room, making a joke to one guest who offered a plate of food to the King, telling the man that he sustains himself on only one meal a day.

As guests gathered to sing happy birthday to Charles, he playfully waved the knife around before cutting into a three-tiered cake decorated with a crown and told the audience that they needed to receive “doggy bags” – a colloquial term used to describe taking leftover food home.

Charles is expected to continue his birthday celebrations on Tuesday with a private party at Clarence House.
