BT Group has sparked a bitter legal fight with ministers over pension reforms which it claims have increased the burden of one of the biggest retirement scheme liabilities in corporate Britain. Fresh earthquakes have hit Hawaii’s Big Island, where a volcanic eruption has forced more than 1,700 people from their homes. Jamie Acourt – one of Britain’s most wanted fugitives – will appear in court next week for an extradition hearing, after being arrested by armed police in Barcelona.
