At least 43 people have been killed in an airstrike which hit a bus carrying children in northern Yemen. Bidders for the ailing department store chain House of Fraser (HoF) were told to submit final offers for the chain on Thursday morning as creditors to one of Britain’s oldest retailers prepare to determine its fate. Russia has said new sanctions imposed by the US over the Salisbury poisoning are “categorically unacceptable”. British Gas customers will see a price hike for the second time this year as the UK’s biggest supplier of energy said bills would increase by £44 on average.
