Uber is planning to shift its focus from cars to electric bicycles and scooters for shorter journeys, the taxi app’s chief executive has revealed. Chinese ride-hailing firm DiDi Chuxing has suspended its carpool service after the arrest of a driver who allegedly raped and killed a female passenger.
