The “fraud refund guarantee” will cover cases where customers are tricked into authorising payments to fraudsters, as well as unauthorised transactions. Julian Assange used the Ecuadorian embassy in London as a “center for spying”, the country’s leader has said. Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson says his train business could disappear from the UK after its partner Stagecoach was barred from three rail franchise bids. Sir Richard, whose Virgin Trains is 49% owned by Stagecoach, said he was “devastated” by the disqualification. The decision of the Supreme Court in London could have implications for other companies over their activities abroad, according to the law firm representing the villagers.
