Prime minister Boris Johnson hosted the first-ever UK-Africa investment summit in the United Kingdom, the first time that many African nations have come together for an event of this kind.
He called for the UK to be the’ investment partner of choice, for today, tomorrow and the future to come.’
The Prime Minister met the 16 African leaders attending the Summit and African business leaders. He will also meet prominent UK business leaders too.
The Prime Minister also visited the Summit’s ‘Business and Innovation Hub’, where he met young entrepreneurs from the UK and Africa and tried out examples of their creative technology that is improving lives across the world.
