It matters the kind of information you fill your mind with, for it will either accelerate or retard your progress. It’s not everything you see on TV or hear on the radio that’s worth your attention.
Your mind is very important and shouldn’t be filled with unnecessary information. If you find yourself in an environment where the information prevalent there is usually negative, learn not to digest every word that you hear. Throw away the trash; don’t retain it in your mind-get rid of it!
The same way you would take out time to clean up your room and get rid of the dirt in it is the same way you’d clean out the wrong stuff in your mind. And the best way to do this regularly is with God’s Word. In John 15:3, Jesus said, “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.” Therefore, as you study and listen to more of God’s Word, it’ll cleanse your mind of all the wrong stuff.
Thoughts of fear, failure, defeat and lack would be replaced by God’s thoughts of Abundance, Prosperity and Victory.
