The cities of Ragama, Negombo, Chillow up to the North-western region of Sri-Lanka witnessed the move of God’s Spirit as partners distributed over 4,000 copies of the daily devotional in Sinhalese and Tamil languages to residents who were mostly of Muslim and Buddhist faiths.
Many testimonies were recorded as joyous recipients received salvation and subscribed for subsequent editions of the devotional. Matthew 9:35 says, “And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” What joy to be living out the life of the Master in our day!
The partners also distributed the devotional in 27 smaller villages including Katupitiya, Makandura, Yakwila, Weralugama, Dandegamuwa, Paduwasnuwara, Koccikade, Nagumbo, and others, blessing school pupils and factory workers in these villages. The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is permeating different cities in Sri-Lanka through the Messenger Angel. The work of the partners is the result of a recent resolve to reach every city in the country by adopting at least one city every month.
