Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summit.
Relations between Moscow and Yerevan are in a difficult phase with Pashinyan looking to build closer ties with the West.
The EAEU, an economic organisation, includes Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan as its members.
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, who was in Moscow for the Victory Day parade on May 9, attended the summit as an observer.
