Pep Guardiola says he is happy with his goalkeepers Willy Caballero and Claudio Bravo, and will make a decision over their Manchester City futures in the summer.

Caballero is back in favour, having been second choice behind Bravo for much of the season.

Although the 35-year-old Argentine is out of contract in the summer, the manager’s comments seem to suggest there is no way back for Joe Hart.

The England keeper was loaned out to Italian club Torino early in the season and, when asked about Caballero and Bravo, Guardiola said: “I’m so happy with Willy and Claudio.

“We are going to talk about it at the end of the season. I trust a lot in both [Caballero and Bravo] and we’ll decide.

“Not just the goalkeepers, the midfielders, wingers, strikers, full-backs – we are going to decide at the end of the season.

“They have to try to keep going, to convince me every day. There are five, six players out of contract but they know the situation.

“Of course there is a risk, maybe they can sign a contract for another club and we have to accept that.

“But we are going to decide in the last months of the season.”

One City player who will not be facing Huddersfield in the FA Cup replay on Wednesday is skipper Vincent Kompany. The Belgian defender is yet to recover from an injury sustained during the first meeting on February 18.
