At the International Easter Youth Camp, young people are inspired to reach out to the world with good news of God’s love.Following the devastation in Nepal as a result of the earthquake, former IEYC delegates in Nepal were moved with so much compassion that they decided to go out and render humanitarian services to the victims of earthquake in cities like Manahari, Chitwan, Lalitpur and Kathmandu.
Despite the challenges they faced on their way to the affected cities, this dedicated team of youths were dogged in their determination to bring smiles to the faces of as many people as possible.They visited the camps housing many of those who were displaced and injured, distributing food items and other relief materials to them. More importantly, they shared the Word with these people, talking to them about the love of God and His eternal plan for mankind. Several gave their hearts to Christ, were strengthened and comforted in the confidence of God’s purpose for their lives.
