At the 2015 International Easter Youth Camp, Candle Shawky and other delegates from Egypt received a word of prophecy from the man of God, Pastor Chris, that they have been called to preach the Gospel to the world.
Working the Word that they received, these youth began to plan and implement strategies for evangelism in Egypt. Candle and her team, in collaboration with Milton Peta from Zimbabwe, set out on a missionary journey to different cities and villages to preach the Gospel of Christ. Cairo, Hurghada, El Menya, Fayoum, El Hennes and Hassan Basha, mostly Muslim cities, were touched by their work.
During their trips, they organized youth conventions, youth leaders’ meetings and soul winning campaigns. All attendees at these meetings were given free copies of Rhapsody of Realities and Rhapsody TeeVo. Over 1,000 people were affected through these programs and 486 souls received salvation and the infilling of the Holy Ghost.
Truly, these youths are blazing the trail for the Gospel with a determination to contend for the faith by preaching the Word in every home, school and city, no matter the odds.
