STARMER SAYS SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH US IS STRONGER THAN EVER – Biden described the United Kingdom as the “knot” tying NATO
Prime minister, Keir Starmer, said the special relationship between Britain and the United States is stronger than ever as he met President Joe Biden at the White House on Wednesday (July 10).
The two leaders met during the NATO Summit being hosted in Washington D.C. on the transatlantic alliance’s 75th anniversary.
Biden and Starmer also shared laughs and congratulations over England’s 2-1 win earlier on Wednesday over the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 soccer tournament.
Biden described the United Kingdom as the “knot” tying together the trans-Atlantic NATO alliance and said that the two countries must continue to cooperate.
