LABOUR PARTY WINS LANDSLIDE VICTORY AT UK’S GENERAL ELECTION- Keith Starmer is set to become the 58th Prime Minister

The Labour Party emerges victorious with a historical win at the 2024 U.K. general election and is on course for a 170-seat majority in the House of Commons.

The 61 years old Labour leader Keir Starmer, who is a human rights lawyer, is set to become the 58th prime minister, after he visits King Charles at Buckingham Palace on Friday.

Starmer, speaking after winning his own seat in North London, stated that the British public had “spoken, and they’re ready for change, to end the politics of performance.”

In the early hours of the morning, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in his speech, stated that ‘power will change hands in a peaceful and orderly manner, with goodwill on all sides. That is something that should give us all confidence in our country’s stability and future.

The British people have delivered a sobering verdict tonight, there is much to learn.’
