HAMAS HANDS OVER BODIES OF 4 HOSTAGES, INCLUDING 2 YOUNGEST – Bereaved have to endure disgusting scenes all for Hamas propaganda
Hamas handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) the bodies of four Israeli hostages in Gaza’s Khan Younis.
A representative of the ICRC signed documents alongside a masked fighter on a stage that was set up for the highly propagandised handover.
The bodies are said to include those of the youngest hostages – an infant and his four-year-old brother – taken by Hamas in their October 7, 2023, murderous attack on southern Israel.
Hamas released the bodies of the Bibas family and Oded Lifshitz (Liv-Shitz). Shiri Bibas and her two sons Kfir and Ariel have been among the highest-profile Israeli hostages seized.
The Red Cross on Wednesday called for privacy and dignity ahead of the expected release of hostages’ bodies from Gaza under the terms of a ceasefire. They didn’t get it.
Thursday’s handover took place under the Gaza ceasefire agreement reached last month with the backing of the United States and the mediation of Qatar and Egypt.
The day before, the Israeli Prime Minister tried to prepare Israel for a day of grief as he looked ahead to receiving the bodies.
