Foreign Minister David Cameron has reportedly warned to withdraw support for Scottish ministers after Humza Yousaf met with Turkish President Recep Erdogan on Dec. 1 without a UK official present.
The meeting between the Scottish National Party leader and Erdogan, which occurred on the sidelines of COP28 in Dubai, was a serious breach of protocol.
A post on social media by Scolands SNP Party Leader and First Minister Yousaf said that he and Erdogan spoke about the climate and the humanitarian situation in Gaza during the meeting. This is not normal and such meetings should be only held with appropriate UK authorities
