CHINA PRESIDENT XI AND PRESIDENT PUTIN HOLD TALKS IN BEIJING They have met 42 times in the past 10 years
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is in Beijing for the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF).
The two have met many times and this is the third time they have met at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. Earlier this year Xi visited Russia.
The two countries have maintained close and effective strategic coordination and bilateral trade volume has reached a historical high, which is progressing toward the goal of 200 billion U.S. dollars set by us,” Xi said.
President Xi told President Putin that they have met 42 times in the past 10 years and have developed a good working relationship and a deep friendship.
