South Korea’s President Yoon’s supporters send flower garlands carrying messages of support which were seen to be arranged along the outer walls of the presidential office compound in Seoul today, following a report of a police raid attempt on the compound.
Couriers were seen placing the flower garlands containing supportive messages along the walls of the presidential compound, which was flanked with a heavy police presence this afternoon.
As reported by the local news, the South Korean police tried to search President Yoon Suk Yeol’s office on Wednesday, but were unable to enter the main building.
Video from Yonhap news agency showed the officers entering the checkpoint before coming out.
Yonhap said police had not managed to agree with the Secret Service on the method of the seizure and search.
